Friday night D&D has become sort of the highlight of my week. I’ve been hankering to continue the campaign that I’m currently running for my players and the more excited I get about it, the more the idea worms squirm about in my mind. I’ve been reading up on some of Chris Perkin’s articles (who is basically the DM god, if you play at all you should definitely check him out) and getting inspired to write more and more on my own story. The ideas come without warning, usually at inopportune times such as in the middle of my Theories of Literature class. Writing it all down is where the magic starts. D&D is such an interesting way of storytelling, I really enjoy it a ton. I also feel like I’m just now beginning to understand a bit about running a game, and that only drives me more. It’s that drive to make your games better, to get stories for each character in the party, and to make your story into legend in the minds of your players. You want them to regale their children with their exploits, tell tales of far off places and wondrous adventures, to revel in nostalgia of things that once were. And perhaps one day in the far future, when the sands of time have worn away all but the strongest kinship, your players shall raise a mug of mead to their Dungeon Master.

Admin here. Working to get a new header installed today. If things look wonky, well… get over it. Should be all settled in 24 hours or so.
